Music
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of works. All classes participate in Music Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Art & Crafts
Arts and crafts provide a fun and interactive way for children to practice things like their fine motor skills and their problem- solving capabilities. In addition, art activities can help children develop creativity and imagination; self-expression; confidence and independence; fine motor skills; problem-solving; hand-eye coordination; social skills; and critical thinking. All classes participate in teacher-directed and child-directed art activities each day.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is essential for healthy development and provides valuable experiences that can directly impact physical development, social skills, and creativity. Additionally, engaging in outdoor play helps children build confidence and independence; enhances and increases communication skills; and initiates relationship building. All classes enjoy 45 – 60 minutes of outdoor play each day, weather permitting.
